Last week was a busy one which kicked off with a trip to the legendary Whelan’s last Monday where I shared the Song Cycle stage with some great performers including Jessica Mcallister from Exeter, and local band Kerencia. Thanks to John Byrne of Whelan’s for having me play.
There was also what’s got to be the coolest hotel room I have ever stayed which had a record player and mini smeg fridge, and a long overdue catch up with old college friend Ciara Mc Elholm which lasted well into the night.
Then it was home to Miltown for teaching and Embrace workshops, before heading to Limerick on Saturday for a live appearance at HMV at the Crescent Shopping Centre where I played alongside two great local Limerick bands Fox jaw and Changing Trains. Thanks to the gang at HMV for sharing their staff room with me and making me feel welcome.
And now it’s Monday again….
